1st EURAMY symposium 

To mark the kick-off of the EURAMY project a mini-symposium, open to the public, was organized in Uppsala on December 14th 2006. All EURAMY partners participated in the symposium and presentations on basic molecular research to clinical trials were given.

2nd EURAMY meeting

The second EURAMY meeting took place in Rome, September 20-22, 2007. The participants presented the status and progress of their projects.
3rd EURAMY meeting
Successful symposium
The third EURAMY internal symposium & meeting on ”Systemic Amyloidoses and Related Issues”, took place at Charité in Berlin, Germany, on February 15-16, 2008. The symposium was attended by several young investigators from each group, and the first day they presented their results either on posters or by giving a short speech. All groups in the consortium have made substantial advances and the work is progressing as intended.
The winner of the poster prize was Jessica Meinhardt from in Dr. M. Fändrich’s group, and the title of the poster was "Structure of polymorphic amyloid fibrils from Alzheimer's disease".

4th EURAMY meeting - midterm review
A Scientific and Midterm Review Meeting was held in Paris, 13 to 14th May 2008, for all EURAMY groupleaders.
5th EURAMY meeting
The fifth EURAMY meeting took place at Novotel Vermar - Póvoa do Varzim in Portugal 17 to 18 October, 2008. 

Póvoa do Varzim is situated by the sea, close to Porto and 25 minutes from the Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport.

 


Final meeting in Paris April 28-29, 2010

Members: Welcome to our final meeting in Paris. We will go through the whole project but also discuss the future. I hope that we can go on with our fruitful meetings which would be highly beneficial for the patients and for science.
